This was Adam and I’s very first Halloween Wedding, October 31st 2014. We have known Stephanie and Patrick for years and have been so captured by their love for each other, the love for their family and their outgoing one of a kind personalities! I mean – how many people want their Save the Dates to incorporate levitation at The Painted Stave in Smyrna Delaware? Amazing!

Okay – now for their Wedding, their unbelievably incredible Wedding.

The day of October 31st 2014 started at the exquisite Worsell Manor in Warwick Maryland. The day was beautiful – the air was brisk.   Steph was beaming ear to ear with happiness, there was a level of calmness in the room as we chatted about the day. Steph was emotional but it was not out of fear or nervousness, rather her realization that today was the day that she would forever be with her soulmate, Patrick Preece. Tears hit the floor as Stephanie’s friend and amazing artist of hair and makeup, Melanie Kroshus, was brushing the last strokes of powder over her face. We all cried and laughed together. Being with these ladies in that moment was so magical. The power of love, friendship and the promise of forever was what this day was all about, and we were witnessing every moment. This powerful moment was again felt during their ceremony when Patrick and Steph shared their vows with their children Lily and Cole. As Patrick read his commitment to Cole, he looked up at both Patrick and his Mother and tears welled in his eyes. It was emotional for everyone, I do not think one person was without tears in their eyes as this new family before God professed their love and devotion for one another. I could sit at this computer and write about all of the gorgeous decorations and details but the perfection of the day didn’t just exist in decor but more importantly in the love and spirit of this newly formed family. I have never cried behind the camera so much in one wedding. I am tearing up now even remembering that love that I was witnessing. So the story of Stephanie and Patricks Wedding goes down in my history book as the day that “Love” was actually visible, the day we all saw the best of what life is all about. I hope you can see all of these feelings in the photos we captured on this amazing day. Their details were impeccable – the wedding coordination done by Nicole Bailey at Elevee Events was present at every turn of this wedding. Jen Mor Florists out of Dover Delaware – yet again – combined together the most beautiful floral arrangements. Men In Black, Ken and Mike did such an outstanding job opening the ceremony up to God, and leading the ceremony with both light humor and divinity. Melanie Kroshus – Makeup Artist and Hair Goddess, “unbelievable” is the only word I have to describe Mel and her art. Spinjocs Entertainment, Master of Ceremony and DJ for the evening was keeping that black and white checkered dance floor flooded – It was hard getting to the center to photograph the massive crowd dancing, Spinjocs are hands down like Rockstars! Meghan Clapp of Dover Tents and Events, again, time after time, she is always transforming rooms into masterpieces! Adam and I were so so so very blessed to be the photographers for this amazing day!
